Fanning A Wave

Fanning A Wave

The first of many from the Hurley’s U.S. Open of Surfing at Huntington Beach, California aka “Surf City”. I spent an afternoon at the quarterfinals and the waves were the largest they had ever had which you’ll be able to see better in upcoming posts. It was a lot of fun. I grew up in Brooklyn and for those of you old enough to remember ABC’s Wide World of Sports during the winter when they would show surfing from Hawaii and California, well, it was just like that. It was very cool.

I am soooo jealous. Seriously, dude.

Fantastic image. Can’t wait to see more.

I used to watch the surfing on Wide World of Sports, too. Just recently watched The Endless Summer since I’d never seen it before. Not that you needed to know all that. 8) Robin´s last post… Night

Thanks Robin. Endless Summer was cool. Look for “Riding Giants”, it’ll blow your mind.
