Yes, I’m referring to the scene outside the Jackson family compound. I was in the neighborhood yesterday and thought I’d stop by for a look. It was the 4th of July and relatively quiet, about 50 people behind the barricades. It was also close to 100 degrees F outside. I’ll have the other posts later in the day. I’ll try to refrain from any editorializing
If you click on the images, you’ll be able to read the text on the signs.
This sheet was hung two doors down from the entrance to the Jackson compound. The man and boy weren’t speaking English and I didn’t want to disturb them to ask where they were from though I believe it was Germany.
This sign was hanging just above the main area where all the fans drop flowers. A must read.

Looks like you captured a good representation in just these two photos. “Hyperbole” is a great title.
Since you refrained from editorializing, I’ll do the same, but it ain’t easy.

Hyperbole is the word. The “greatest person who ever lived”???? Maybe “good entertainer” or “good musician” but people need to settle down a little.

It’s pretty awesome that you are able to get these shots, they are rather historical whether we agree or not, but “greatest person who ever lived”–thought someone else already laid claim to that title. Just sayin’, not necessarily agreein’.

Amazingly bizarre people out there. These pictures make me want to know “the rest of the story.” Great photo captures you got here.
I’ll nod in agreement…
Thanks for the pictures. There is much to sort about him and his story.
