On the way from Oruro to Tomorapi, there were dozens of these along the side of the road. It didn’t take seeing them to make me realize that I wasn’t in Kansas anymore. I had already known that for quite a while. And I couldn’t be happier.

Whoa! I’ve seen dust devils, but never one that big. A dry land version of a water spout. Are they as innocuous as water spouts? (I’m assuming so, but you know what they say about assuming…

Neat! I saw a lot of this kind of thing when I was in Mexico many years ago. I love all the colors and “layers” here!
