Driving The Vote Home - North Hollywood, California

Click the photo for a larger version. The music is here.

Voters wait on line outside a car dealership in North Hollywood, California to vote, because it’s not like they’re all there to buy new cars, is it? If you can’t tell, its a Honda dealer, not sure if that’s strange or not but struck me as kind of ironic. To be fair, there was a Ford dealer / polling place up the road.

Californians vote in car dealerships? Well, I suppose there IS plenty of open spaces with the buying crowds down. In Wisconsin, we vote in libraries and churches and community centers. I don’t think we use places that are commercial – interesting, maybe I should check that out.

How strange. At least it is to me. As it is for Bo, our polling places are in libraries, community centers, etc.

Enjoyed the Garbage song. :)

It was weird to me too. I grew up with schools being the polling places. On the bright side, I hear that next year they’ll be voting in Strip Clubs… ;)

Glad you liked the song Robin…
