I’m not a big fan of Disney World but when I do go, I stay at The Dolphin or its sister hotel, The Swan. They share a great pool, restaurants both in the hotels and on The Boardwalk. They’re a bit out of the way yet still convenient and you can get to the parks via motor launch.

I haven’t been to Disney World since… hmmm…. about 1987 or ’88, I think. I wonder if it’s changed much…
We have stayed at the Swan – it is great! When we stayed there, we used Travelocity to book the room. Travelocity is one of the few online hotel booking sites that actually list Disney hotels… the stay was much less than using Disney to book the room.

I have been so lucky that my son has never shown any interest in going here, we travel thru Florida a couple times a year and haven’t had to sell my soul to old Walt yet
