I fear they may get to be meaningless, 'Oh, everyone just says that.' So I'm offering contrast, just so all the other compliments sounds so sincere. I didn't like this one. It depressed me. I'm not sure why. It might be the colors, the big, ugly beaked birds or the harsh lines. The more I look at it, the more I want to shut my eyes. You know, you always hear compliment after compliment. There's a lot going on in this one. There's the natural water fowl then the fishermen (or that's what I think they are) and then behind it all is the sprawling city.
