A rehabbing spider monkey at La Sende Verde, a wildlife refuge in Yolosa, Bolivia.
I almost went with Peter Gabriel but thought some people (PETA) might get the wrong idea…

The Monkees?? lol! But then again, I can see how Shock the Monkey might be misconstrued. The Monkees theme seems the better choice.
(I’ll have you to blame if, at the end of the day, I’m still singing “Hey, hey, we’re the Monkees!”)
That little guy/gal is so cute. Nice, Ron.
looks like this monkey has…something to say
Wise choice.
The lines across the eyes… you see it? Gives him a whole other dimension. I like the contrast of the whiskers and the skater’s haircut. The front brush is pretty popular with the teens, but those whiskers give him the air of grandpa.
This is a AWWWW moment Ron, very cute, but I would have went with Peter Gabriel….
I like to see the PETA people fired up
sadly, i spent a couple years convincing my friends that running up my slide and sliding down was the best thing we could do with our time, it grew to a show of others banging their heads off the swing poles, slipping on the ground, and bumping into each other

Come on.. I come to see a cute spider monkey and hang around YouTube listening to the MONKEES for 15 minutes….once, when I was young….
And the little monkey is cute too.
That is a great shot.
About The Monkees:
When Jimi Hendrix was an up and coming artist, he used to open for them!
What a soulful little creature! Thanks for sharing Ron!
Thanks Robin, still singing or are you back on hiatus this week?
What is he gonna say fish, tell us…
I thought so A… and yes, his eyes are a bit different.
Imagine how long you would have stayed if the monkey was draped in snow Barbara…
Thanks Science Guy and for the trivia too…
You’re welcome truddle, great to see you…
I would, Ron, but you guys won’t let me.
Next time I’ll be smart enough not to announce it.
You got that right Robin…
and, umm, no you won’t
Wanna bet?
DO YOU HAVE CONTACT INFORMATION FOR LA SENDA VERDE? I WANT TO CALL THEM BUT THEIR WEB SITE IS DOWN AND I CAN’T SEEM TO LOCATE A WORKING NUMBER??
THANKS!
