Basketball (Court) Jesus

Basketball (Court) Jesus - Coroico, Bolivia

Click the photo for a larger version.

Here’s the short version video from TNT and the full version of the song.

I’m not a big BBall fan but I know Bernie is (I’m also thinking he’ll enjoy the music videos.) Now I’m pretty sure that there aren’t any courts in Indiana with this kind of scenery, if I’m wrong, please let me know, better yet, send me a plane ticket.

I’m also pretty sure that after Jim Dolan is done running ruining Madison Square Garden, this will be home court for the Knicks and unfortunately, my Rangers too…

One last thought…

I saw an awful lot of basketball courts and an awful lot of churches in Bolivia, the majority attached at the courtyard…

Now, I understand that the church has been around awhile…

and basketball is relatively new, so…

My question is, when did they merge into an exported entity that seems purely American?

Any ideas?

Beautiful view and shot.

Strange combination. Unless…are there schools associated with the churches?

I’ve been to Indiana. I don’t think you’ll be getting that plane ticket. ;)

Maybe it’s a way to lure the youth back to the straight and narrow?

I love the sky in your Bolivia shots. Mine is covered by skyscrapers.

yeah, donno about the rest of the state, but indianapolis is kinda an armpit.

If you have not been to a High School Basketball game in Indiana you have been denied one of the true spiritual experiences in life :)

Ask the Dali Lama :)
