Along the Rio Mamoré - Bolivia

Shortly after we turned onto the Rio Mamoré, we spotted the only white sand beach in the landlocked country known as Bolivia. Unfortunately the weather was horrible but it was still great to see.

I think it’s beautiful. I like this shot. And the plant … it looks like a visitor to the beach.

It makes me want to shed my shoes and run thru it barefoot, but the only problem is it is South America, and who the hell knows what type of creature lurks beneath the sand and water :)

Have you ever been to Harbor Island in the Bahamas? The sand is pink. It is pretty cool looking.
