Snake in a Car

Snake in a Car - Trinidad, Bolivia

Click on the snake for the music.

So the day we met the dead duck walking, our day started with what you see above.

Yep, that’s right, there was a mother f***ing snake in our mother f***ing taxi.

I had just finished taking photos down by the river at Port Boliviano when we turned and walked back to the car.

I had left the door open to the back seat because growing up in Brooklyn, the thought never occurred to me that I would have to worry about a mother f***ing snake in our mother f***ing taxi.

But you live and you learn.

Wilson, our trusty driver got the snake out of the car, told us it was venomous and proceeded to kill it with a big stick.

We knew it was gonna be an interesting day.

I knew Snakes On A Plane was going to figure in here…lol!

Close the door, Ron. Close the door. And then have your interesting day.

I like the photo. I’m glad your encounter with the snake wasn’t more personal.
