Sometimes, things just kind of shoot themselves, it’s up to the photographer not to completely screw it up. I (or anybody else) could’ve taken this with the Brownie I had as a kid although it really would’ve been a pain in the ass to move the Laguna and mountains to Brooklyn…

I will quibble about one thing, my GPS recorded me at 4,334 meters (14, 219 feet) when I took this photo, not that wimpy 4,278 meters (14,035 feet) that wiki claims. And if you don’t think that 56 meters (184 feet) makes a difference, while smoking an L&M menthol, well, i’m just saying.

menthols, Ron? Really? I paled a little, realizing I wasn’t up to the nagging that this little confession merits.
You sure visit some gorgeous places, and take some gorgeous photographs, Ron.
I used to smoke menthols until I paused. (I keep telling myself I didn’t quit, I paused. I’ll take up smoking again when I’m 80 or 90.)

They only have 3 brands of cigarettes in the entire country. L&M (red, blue and green) Camel (regular and lights) and Marlboro (red). which is kind of hard to believe consindering the amount of choices we have here.
