LOL! Perfect caption for this one.
I owe you a thanks for all that I’m learning through your travels. So here it is: Thank you.
I thought this was a wolf. I’ve now learned it is a fox (admired by men since ancient times because of their wisdom and ingenuity). There’s apparently an interesting myth associated with it, but the translation I got is so poor that I have no idea what the story is or means.
Although fat and sassy looking this fellow looks like he has recently seen some troubles – perhaps payment for looking fat and sassy?
Great capture Ron!
favorite animal shot, by far.
Can I have one? Look at those eyes. pools… portals to the shadow-land.
You’re quite welcome Robin
Thanks truddle, from what I understand they’re facing extinction.
Thanks A. I’ll have to send you a better shot of this guy when I get back since the P.W. thing isn’t going so well. We’ll see what the jungle brings.
My fox and yours. Well fed, protected, comfortable climate vs. What? This poor little guy looks like he could use a vacation to someplace like Maymont Park.
