Cross at the Top of the Stairs

Cross at the Top of the Stairs - Oruro, Bolivia

Click the photo for a larger version.

I had just finished climbing out of a mine (yes, a mine) ”Museo Minero del Socavon”, which is located below the church, “Santuario de la Virgen del Socavon” when I saw this boy climbing the stairs next to the church.

I thought about climbing up to have a look and thought again since what you see is about one third of the staircase.

I hope you like this view of the cross.

It’s a great view. Great shot, too.

Looks like a long climb. I can see why you went with this view.

I do like the photo. Don’t wonder why you stayed on the street, though.

Great perspective. Stairs are killers.

Kind of surreal climbing out of a mine and the first thing you see is a giant cross, sort of a heaven and hell shot :)
