Well Bernie, you know I’m not a big flower guy, anything I do shoot flora and fauna wise I ultimately end up playing with in Photoshop… I shoot almost exclusively in RAW. Also shoot Canon, only.
Robin,I’m expecting great things in the leaf-peepingTM arena from you, equivical to your fence-sitting skills at least… have fun…

Wow Ron love the flash of color of this. With the dark background the flowers really pop!
I think I like this one better. As Truddle pointed out, the flowers (and colors) pop on the dark background.
But there’s something to be said for the softer version too.
i like this picture, but then again i’ve always wanted a collection of those black silk paintings, don’t laugh, this reminds me of one
I wish I could take photos of flowers. This makes me long for better skills. Very good.
Thaks truddle…
C’mon Robin, fence-sitting is almost as bad as leaf-peepingTM…
OK, fish…I won’t laugh…really
but thank you…
Stevo, you can shoot anything, the images you create in China make me envious…
I like this one better Ron, I tend to shoot my images with less bg clutter, I especially love a dark bg for my flower shots if I can pull it off.
This is very nice… I was also wandering in what format you shoot most your images RAW or JPEG?
I’ll have you know I’m a champion fence-sitter. I’m still working on the leaf-peepingTM skills.
Seriously, I do like both, for different reasons.

I’ve decided I like it. THough there’s something almost dangerous about these flowers in this hue.
Thanks amuirin…
The perfect gift for a girlfriend who likes whips and things like that.
